Time files.. counting down 6.5 days to my last day of work. Mixed feeling. Anyway, our senior consultant treated pei wen, law and i to lunch last friday cos both pei wen and i are leaving soon. So i suppose that is our farewell lunch bah. Dr Hwang personally drove us to Great World City and we had Japanese food at Ichiban. Was quite awkward at first cos our boss dont feel like eating anything so she just ordered some sushi whereas the rest of us ordered a set meal each. I had ten don which i think is so so... Pei wen ordered the cheapest set which is katsu don while law ordered eel with egg don. Chatted a little about work, plans for future and also hobbies etc etc. Expected our boss to be quite angry with us but it turns out that she is happy for us for able to pursue our own interest and also that at least i can get to further my studies. But was a little embarrassed cos she kept mentioning that a lot of people are going into teaching and how is her lab going to survive if all the people come to work for only a year and they will go into teaching... Anyway cant blame her cos she is the boss afterall and i can understand the agnony of training a staff for a year and in the end she just resign...
