Well think i just got to believe that saying the word "boring" is a taboo in our lab. Its was initially a very boring morning until i said the word" i am bored". All the urines started pouring in batches and how i wish i have 4 pairs of hands to process the urines. Worst of all there was a attachment student today so too bad we got to neglect him for the entire afternoon.

Time really files, i still remember the days that i did my attachment but today turns out that i got to train the attachment students instead. But as compared think i am more enthu than them cos i remembered i kept copying down all the things that the people said to me and i am thick skinned enough to follow them around and observe the things that they were doing. Haha Anyway thank god now there is additional help so i dont need to make so many trips down to histology to collect specimens.

So work has been that boring and rountine except that some kind of JCI audit is coming again so think hell is breaking loose for me. Got to memorise the core values of the hospital and things like that which i think is rather silly. I didnt even bothered to memorise my school's core values... lol Anyway finally its a saturday off for me so met up with Anthony and we went on a shopping spree cum celebration cos he promised to reward me for getting into NIE. Its been quite some time since i went to town and oh my... there were sales everywhere. Too much of a temptation.

Been listening to the advertisement on Square two for its korean stuffs on radio recently so we decided to go there to have a look. But was a bit of a disappointment when we got there cos most of the shops were not opened yet and there is only one pathetic level of korean stuffs. Think its not worth of our money and energy and time to travel all the way from boonlay to novena for that one level of korean goods. Anyway had ramen for lunch at Ajisen. Both of us ordered the Ajisen ramen and two side dishes ( fried soft shell crab and white fish). Didnt really like the soup base cos it tasted weird or rather milky. Maybe thats because its my first time eating it... but the soft shell crab is highly recommendable. Shopped around for a while then we proceed to bugis. At least Bugis got more things to look at.

Yeah Kino was having this 20% sales for members n i had a fun time browsing around kino. Got a couple of books to buy but due to $$$$ constraint, in the end i only bought a chicken soup for the singapore souls, the little prisoner and for some day by mitch albom. Anyway walked around afterwards, shopped for his shirt but didnt get anything cos all the shirts on display looked too uncle. Had tea at MOS burger and slacked a little while beside the fountain before going to OG to get a watch for my dad. And OG was crowded with all the aunties and uncles. Spotted this uncle who is giving a talk on 4Ds outside the fu lu shou building. Dont really believe his speech cos if he is that accurate, he would have become a millionaire by now.

Window shopped at bugis street afterthat then walked back to bugis junction for dinner at Fish and Co. They were having this promotion for the cartoon the legend of the sea or something like that. So its like if u order the combo meal that consists of a seafood platter for two and two drinks, u will get a plush toy for free. So we shared a seafood platter and the people gave us a dragon soft toy which we have decided to name it "long long". haha

Anyway he send me home and i manage to reach home by 10pm before my mum started calling me. It was an enjoyable day afterall.

Well it has been quite a long time since I last updated my blog. Quite a number of things happened for the past few weeks for the most important thing is that I was accepted into NIE for the Diploma in Education Program. But having accepted into the institution also means that I got to give up my current job. Was a bit sad at the thought of it and I am sure my dept head is going to be very mad at me. However, this is how things are laid out for me. Moreover, the job prospect as a teacher is definitely is better than a laboratory technologist.

Anyway went to watch the Play! A video game symphony at Esplanade last Saturday with mc, ch, yc and yc’s friend. Its my first time watching such a concert and frankly speaking, I was a bit overwhelmed by the magnificent layout of the concert hall and the orchestra. Call me a mountain tortoise. Haha. I was impressed by the performance made by the orchestra. Of all the instruments, think I liked the harp, flute, pipe organ and violin the most. Its especially for the pipe organ music which sounds so grand of which it actually reminds me of the movie, Corpse Bride and the player’s hand reminds me of the hand in Adam’s family hand. Haha However, its a pity that i dont really know how to appreciate the music cos i dont play online games.
