Didnt know since when have i become such an emotional creature? Was finishing the book "Tuesday with Morrie" when i felt the sudden urge to cry. Yes it was indeed a very touching story. The author is excellent in describing his feelings to the extend that it helped to bring back memories of the people whom i have long lost contact with. But at the same time, it was painful to recall back the memories of my late loved ones. I missed their voices and their smiles...

Happy Piggy New Year to Everyone!!!
I can say this new lunar new year is filled with lots of surprises. First of all comes from my cousin who used to claim that she shall be the chairman of our aspiring bachelorette club but it looks like she got to eat back her words cos she surprised us by bringing her bf home during the chinese new year holidays. What a surprise huh. Ask me whether will i be jealous or aspired? Nope cos i am still enjoying my single status and ya i am enjoying it. Haha
Well next comes my rebonded hair. People around me said that i looked a lot more younger with my new hair style and my grandaunt jus proved it cos she kept mistakening my younger sis as me so she started asking her about my job thingy. Haha Hurray think the 130 bucks for rebonding is definetely worth it cos it makes me look younger. Hee
Another surprise comes from L. Just recieved a necklace with a pearl pendant from him. Thought he already forgot about it cos i was told that he left the necklace at his sarawak home. Anyway its so sweet of him.
Well today lunch was a treat from our senior consultant doc. We were treated to a sumptuous lunch and Yu Sheng at the House of Sundanese at Great World City. Food was quite nice and i loved the bbq squid. Think i am capable of finishing the whole plate of squid all by my own but i restrained cos i cant embarass myself in front of my colleagues rite. Haha Anyway i shall bring my family there for dinner next time.

Its New year Eve! Yippee Super excited but too bad my reunion dinner is changed to reunion lunch cos dad is working afternoon shift. Well tmr i'll be going to jas's house with mun. Think its only the second time that i've been to jas's house since i knoe her since kindergarden days. LOL
Work was quite busy for the past few weeks cos chinese new year is approaching hence lots of patients are rushing for their appointments which mean there were lots of specimens for us to process.
In addition, i jus realise the latest phenomenon. Did u people notice the reduction in no. of people during the morning rush? Well the mrt train was pratically quite empty during the morning rush hour yesterday so i guess many of the people must be on leave bah. My colleague partnering me in the prcessing room for this month is also on leave on thursday and friday thus they got L to come in and help me. Well its quite fun partnering him cos we are quite organised in our work so things can be done quite effeciently but i jus realise he got this mood swing thingy. In a split second, he can be very grumbly but in another split second his mood will change so i was teasing him that he got PMS. Anyway think guys nowadays are quite weird in the sense that their mood can swings really fast.
Anyway jus learn that he can actually play the piano, flute and saxophone. Was a bit paiseh when he asked me whether do i play any musical instruments cos i am a music idiot and my only forte are shot put and photography which can be considered quite manly stuffs. Fortunately he said that its ok for girls have a bit of muscle and its good for self defence which is something pleasant to hear but i dont knoe whether issit true words from his heart or not. Anyway i am not going to care about how people think of me cos its me and only me and nobody elses.
Well its valentine’s day todae. First I gotta wish u people Happy Valentine’s Day. As for me, too bad my valentine hasn’t appeared yet so it’s another lonely valentine’s day for me again. Haha Anyway in my case I just felt that the coming Chinese New Year matters more than Valentine’s day.
Been helping out my mum with the new year shopping in the past few days. Well I’m having festive mood especially since my workplace is so near to Chinatown. Went with L to Chinatown last Friday to queue for Bak Kwa and dinner after work. In case u people don’t believe ur eyes, well yes we apparently queued for bak kwa with a dozen other people (most of them are uncles and aunties) so the two of us looks like a sore thumb stucking out of the queue. Haha fortunately the queue was quite short so we only have to queue for about 10 mins. Anyway time passes quite quickly with us chatting away, providing some entertainment as well to Aunties queuing in front of us with prying eyes and wide open ear ready for the latest gossips. LOL
But things didn’t really go as expected that day cos L’s down with stomach ache. Initially we have decided to go Village for dinner but since he is not feeling well, it’s better to have something plain and soupy so our dinner ended up at Hong Lim Market. Had fish beehoon soup and the uncle was extremely chirpy. When L and I both wanted to pay for dinner, the uncle proclaimed that he will only collect the money from him cos he felt that a guy should pay for his girl on a date. At that moment, it was quite awkward and I was tongue tied. But it’s a surprise that L actually answered that he agreed with him and even laughed it out loud. Well at least that kinda helped to break the second of silence.
Anyway we didn’t manage to squeeze into the Chinese new year pasar malam cos it’s so crowded to the extend that we can only see heads after heads. Don’t think it will be nice to get squashed after dinner. So if u guys wanted to go for some last minute shopping, it’s advisable that u all better go in the afternoon. Haha

It looks like there is this stomach flu virus luring about in the atmosphere cos recently there have been lots of people down with it. Initially i am suppose to meet up with jas and mun todae but its was postponed cos jas wasnt feeling well. Anyway end up in jurong point again for dinner cos my mum tot i will be having dinner outside thus there's no dinner for me.
Dinner was at Subway with lina and law but lina left shortly after dinner so left the law and i to catch the live comedy staged at jurong point. Anyway the story is about this fat girl having probs finding a boyfriend but she met lao fu zi who kinda help to dress her up and eventually she found herself a boyfriend for chinese new year. Haha lame rite but it was quite funny and we had a great deal of time laughing away (good to destress a bit). But being fat is not our fault rite, some of us are just born with the fat genes and i just admire the people that wont grow fat no matter how much they eat. Anyway chinese new year is coming, think i better not snack too much in case i put on weight again. Sian*

I did something serious last night. Nope its not in a moment of fondness but something that i have been planning for a long while. Oops in case u people start to think dirty, its actually my university application. Haha Got to thanks Law for his constant nagging or in other words "concern" everyday on whether have i applied for the university courses. (its looks like he is even more eager than me but i am glad that there is still someone standing by me) And Yes! I have finally plucked up enough courage to fill up the online application form and most importantly is to press the submit button. I shall wait for the good news and hopefully they will call me up for an interview soon. (*Cross Fingers)
And i did something BIG again. Haha Guess what! I rebonded my hair! Well to others it may be nothing but to me its something big cos i've been having the same hair style for the past 20 years. Was a bit disappointed by the final outcome cos my hair jus look weird (its flattened so it looks kinda like a mop head) or i am not used to my new look. Hopefully my hair will turn out more natural on monday cos i got to go to work. Think everyone will be in a surprise. Haha.
