I dreaded this few weeks.. Following my medical checkup earlier this month of which i was diagnosed with sinus tachycardia and the doctor even suspected that my superb fast heart rate is due to Hyperthyroidism. Went for thyroid function test(results still unknown yet, hopefully not hyperthyroidism) and i was referred to the cardiologist whom will advise on my state of fitness. My goodness juz imagine all the diseases and the medical terms that u learnt during clinical chem lectures came back looking for u! Anyway now its my wisdom tooth creating havoc..

Went to the dentist early this morning (my mouth is still numb). Had a X ray of my whole set of teeth which is quite fun. First the clinic assi got me to wear a protective gear, next u got to bite onto a probe of the equipment and then the equipment will circulate around your head. It kinda looks like some science fiction movie stuffs. Well the X ray showed i got 4 wisdom tooth of which 3 already partially came out and 1 is still buried under the gums. However the latter one is a silent killer cos its positioned in a way that once it try to protrude out, its going to push my front motar tooth out. So i better pray that it will to rest in peace. LOL

As for this particular wisdom tooth that got me to the dentist today, i was told by the dentist that it is pushing its way out resulting in cracking of my gums and it has become a pocket trapping all the food stuff underneath it, eventually leading to inflammation of my gums. As there are still slight tenderness of my gums, i was told that i can only undergo the surgery after the inflammation subsides so the dentist only disinfected the site and i was given some antibiotics and painkiller. Anyway the process may sound quite interesting for u guys but it hurts like hell. I juz cant understand why must we have additional teeth whereby there are already enough teeth for us to chew.

Oh ya another thing is that the wisdom tooth/ teeth in Asian people are normally buried under the gums.. so in my case does that indicates that i am weird.. Alright. Enough of all the teethy/ toothy thingy.... its time for painkiller!Hee

Im BORED! BORED! BORED! Think i am dying from boredom soon.... Nowadays, life seems to follow a routine. Everyday begins with morning excercise, followed by breakfast then vacuuming and mopping of floor, folding of the laundries, bath, lunch, play SIMS, cut fruits, dinner, watch TV, sleep.... School started for everybody but im still stuck at home without work and study. How i wish i can go back to school....

Anyway yesterdae managed to go out with CH to K box and also to gasp some fresh air cos staying at home for too long a period of time is making me mouldly. Haha

Watched the travel show screening on channel U at 8.30pm. This week is about Chiang Mai and I was once again mesmerised by the beauty of Chiang Mai. Been there 2 years ago and it is a memorable trip. I loves the people, the weather and everything. Actually i am suggesting to my mum to migrate to Chiang Mai cos with the money we got from selling our 5 room flat, we can easily buy ourselves a bungalow, car, land for rice plantation and also hire maids (got the infor from our tour guide). As for me, i can work in Chiang Mai hosiptal or even their agriculture research centre. Haha Too bad my mum didnt take me seriously, she juz told me to stop day dreaming... Alright perhaps thats the basic human instinct. Once u get too bored, u will start day dreaming... Hee

Its contradicting.. Here im trying to shed those kilos amd yet there i am stuffing my face in another round of buffet again. Haha Luckily this time round the buffet is lighter and healthier cos its teochew porridge buffet. Sounds weird? Yes Its my first time having porridge buffet too. Intially i thought its all kind of porridge but well it turns out that the plain sweet potatoe porridge is the main fare and u can choose from a variety of dishes to go with. There are lots of braised dishes ranging from pig trotters, chicken feet, beancurd, egg. Anyway to those who loves to eat braised stuffs, u should give it a try. Admit i dont really like to eat plain porridge so the buffet to me is average. I still prefer seafood buffet! LOL

Went to Giant @ pioneer mall to replenish groceries and i was rather upset by the service that they provide. First there were only 3 counters open during peak hours and when its our turn after queueing for some time, the cashier suddenly went away to do other things leaving my mum and i waiting at the counter. Although the cashier did apologised when she came back, she gave us the plastic bags telling us to pack the stuffs ourselves. My goodness, I was shocked. Haven't she been helping the customers to pack the stuffs all along but why do we need to pack our stuffs. Perhaps my mum look too nice so they "bullied" us. Anyway it may pays to look a little bit unfriendly. Haha

Todae is a wet and wild day and it isnt a good day for tomb sweeping. Went "tomb sweeping" this morning and its raining cats and dogs!!! Initially we planned to visit to my grandma's tomb first, followed by my greatgrandparents', then my elder grandma's (my grandpa got 2 wives but my grandpa only married my grandma after his first wife died during the japanese occupation period), and then my grandpa's at Mt Vernon.

But when we reached my grandma's tomb, its raining so heavily that we cant even burn the incense paper and joss sticks. Haha everything just happened to be so dramatic cos i was literally using my umbrella to protect the incense paper from getting soaked and in the end i am drenched to the skin. Anyway my parents and aunt were drenched too so all of us kinda looked like drenched chickens. LOL. In the end, we decided to go to Mt Vernon first. Luckily it wasnt raining at Mt Vernon so we managed to offer my prayers and burn all the incense paper asap. Afterwhich we went back to the Yio Chu Kang cemetery again and its still raining cats and dogs. ARGH!!! Anyway, went for lunch in the meanwhile hopping that rain will stop and God bless it finally stops.

Was praying to my grandma hoping that she will give me some blessing in finding a job and also my further studies; and my father was like asking grandma to spare us some money so that i can have the money to further my studies since we burned so many incense paper for her. LOL And he even reminded my grandma that the money got to be our money not hell notes. Lame right ya my dad is a born joker. Anyway my grandma is a gentle and demure lady hope she wouldnt mind that lame remark from my dad. Haha

Went for a shopping spree with mum at Jurong Point yesterdae and mum bought me 4 skirts! Well mum dont allow me to wear pants anymore and she insists that its time for me to undergo a makeover something like putting on some light makeup and dressing up a bit instead of the boring combination of T shirt and Jeans. Okie since we have graduated from school perhaps its time for some make over so be prepared to see a different me by graduation day. Haha

Walking into the boutique made me feel intimidated cos the ladies around me are so slim and the clothes look so small in size. Its really awkward for me to walk in like that but luckily at least my mum is slim enough so i can have the excuse of going in. Think there is a bit of discrimination cos the sales girl dont really bother about me until my mum asked her whether are there any blouses or skirts of my size.

Anyway realised one of the skirts dont fit me well after we got home so todae went to exchange for another piece with my aunt. Perhaps todae is the day that our horoscopes clashes. I am kinda annoyed by her cos she took such a long time to try on a blouse and she kept adjusting the blouse here and there. Okie admit that im a very impaitient person. Once i think that this blouse dont suits me i wont try it a second time anymore. And she took a 1 hour plus to try all the clothes but only end up buying a skirt and a blouse while my mum juz took less than 1 hour to buy 3 skirts and 2 blouses. See the difference. Maybe my mum and i got the same character and we are the impaitient types. Anyway better dont shop with my aunt next time round.

Oh my heart aches! My sims oh my sims... they are gone forever. In case u dont know what im moaning about. Actually its my SIMS pc games. Managed to play the SIMS family using my sis's new laptop cos mine used to hang halfway through the game and i even created 3 generations. Perhaps the game is too huge (3GB) for my sis's laptop, nowadays it kept hanging. Thanks to kit mun who helped me fix the com but she advised me to uninstall the game. So my whole month of efforts are all gone into the drain...

Anyway went to market this morning with my aunt, bought some groceries and stuffs for Qing Ming cos we are going to the cemetery next tues. The stuffs are damm heavy and my aunt kept telling me not to be too rough in case the paper stuffs tear. Also went to the chinese medicine shop and was pissed off by the auntie storekeeper. There was a very old man whom i think got parkinson's disease cos his hands are badly trembling away, coming in to buy plasters for muscle aches. Intially the auntie handed him the plaster and told him its 2.50 but when the old man handed over 5 bucks, she return him only 2 bucks. What a F***ing fellow! How can she cheat the old man's money!

Anyway i am really angry with myself for not having the courage to interfere. And here is a piece of advice to u guys, better not let ur grandma or grandpa buy things on their own, there are bad chaps out there cheating elderly's money. Its always the best to let them stay at home while u run errands for them.

Yesterdae started very early. Mum dragged me out of bed at 6.30am cos we need to go to kovan for Qing Ming Prayers. Anyway reached the temple at 9 something and my goodness the temple is already very packed. It was so smoky till i cant even pry open my eyes and my cousin was tearing away. Anyway went to Grandma's house afterthat of which I nearly bored to death cos both my cousins and sis were not around, ya all thanks to their exams season. Feeling the odd one out cos pple around me are mugging furiously while i m the only one slacking...

Earlier on, grandma went for her medical check up and she showed me the medical report from pathlab. Was quite taken by surprise when i saw the name Dr Leong, medical director, printed at the end of the report. Issnt he the one who interviewed me when i applied for the medical technologists post in pathlab. So he is the medical director! Anyway i really regreted telling him im going to further my studies in feb.

Admit im very naive in thinking and i used to take things for granted such as med tech pple can get a job easily. However, as time gone by, i realised that in our field both work experience and academic qualifications are equally important and moreover i dont think i have enough money to further my studies next yr so perhaps i got to delay my study plans and in the meanwhile work first. Maybe it is a better choice to work for a few years before i embark on my further studies cos i can accumulate work experience and at the same time save some money for my further studies so in that case i wouldnt land myself in a pile of debts by loaning from bank cos they charge shooting high interest rate.

Todae is April Fool's Day but luckily no one played a prank on me. Anyway Its a wonderful day. It has been a long long time since my dad off on saturdae so mum treated us to lunch buffet at Vienna Seafood Teppanyaki restuarant @ United Square. Well all my dieting plans were temporarily casted aside and i juz indudged myself into the sumptous buffet spread. Basically tried all the food but in small quanities, food was not bad but i dont like the ambience. Prefer to dine at the Al Fresco dining area cos its quieter compared to inside which is rather messy and noisy. However the heat can be quite a hassel in Alfresco dining. As for the food, the herbal soups packed a punch but i dont like the sashimi that were sliced with a finger thickness. A bit disgusting cos its too thick for me and i nearly vommited.

Anyway i was quite surprised that my appetite has shrunk cos this time round i couldnt eat much compared to last time. Okie that means my dieting plans are working. Heehee

Went to Marina Square afterwards and mum bought me 2 billabong T- shirts which costed 60 plus bucks. Was quite astonished by the price but since its mum paying so i got no comments. Heehee Anyway she said the lunch and T shirts are part of my "salary" for helping her out with the household chores cos my aunt who is responsible for the houseworks went to KL so for the past week i got to take over her duties which include mopping of the floor to cooking lunch and dinner.
